Comment for an English textbook.
While-reading activities; there are some questions require students the ability of scanning and skimming for getting specific details. However, learners don’t seem to catch the big picture of the whole story of the festival. So, we suggest that teachers adopt pair reading which a pair of students read different parts from each other, and talk together later. Also, the textbook just give students some words in the main paragraphs that they might not understand. It couldn’t be beneficial for students because this part is just a list of vocabulary. Instead, teachers can make students guess the words in a group and later check together if they were on the right track.

-Guess what “ball” means in the last paragraph. You can find the different meaning of it from what people normally know.
